10 Top Photo Spots In Seattle

You’ve come to one of my favorite things to write about which are the best photo spots in each city! You either got here because you found this through just searching or read my Seattle Weekend Travel Guide! Anyways, while I was in Seattle, I found these top 10 photo spots. Also, one spot not mentioned is the famous Gum Wall, it was their annual cleaning when I was visiting.

Chihuly Garden & Glass

The most iconic exhibit by Dale Chihuly is definitely a must visit. If you don’t know who Dale Chihuly is, he is the most well known glass blower. The Exhibition includes eight Galleries, the centerpiece Glasshouse and a lush Garden. It was the most beautiful exhibit I have ever seen! The Glasshouse and the Garden is perfect for an Instagram spot. It is only $32 for general admission or you can do what I did and buy The City Pass. The City Pass is $99 for five attractions which I think is worth it!

MoPOP

The Museum of Pop Culture (right next to Chihuly Garden & Glass) has some cool exterior design that is great for a photo op. I stopped on two sides of the building for the photos. This Nonprofit museum is dedicated to contemporary popular culture. General Admission is $28 but this is also included in The City Pass. My outfit was perfect for this fall weather. I linked up this look under shop my look here

Pike Place

The oldest public farmers’ markets in the United States is a great photo spot but make sure you go not during peak hours. Pike Place is one of most touristy destinations and it runs from Pike Street to Virginia Street. The Market is built on the edge of a steep hill, and consists of several lower levels located below the main level. Each level has unique shops, restaurants and local farmers small businesses. This is one of those places you can just keep going every day and finding something new. I loved it!

Seattle Great Wheel

Right on the boardwalk on the water in front of the Great Wheel is great photoshoot opportunity. If you want to ride the wheel, it’s 15 dollars. I loved the area and how gorgeous Seattle is on the water.

Space Needle

The iconic Seattle city landmark is one of the most beautiful views of the city I have ever seen.  The Space Needle has an observation deck and a rotating floor. It’s $32 but this is also included in The City Pass. Tip: Go at 930am when it opens since it is less crowded.

Kerry Park

You know that postcard you see of Seattle all the time? Well that’s Kerry Park. This park is a hike to get to, so I suggest bus or car to get up top of the hill. The best time to go is early in the morning when there are no crowds. I went at 8am Sunday and it was perfect!

Gas Works Park

Have you seen the movie 10 Things I Hate About You? Well here is the iconic park the paintball scene was filmed. I found this little spot in the beginning of the park and thought it was super cool for a photoshoot. I love finding unique and cool places.

Freeway Park

I only found out about this place through another blogger.  It’s different and unique but with an urban twist. It’s a spot you can do all sorts of photoshoots. Definitely give this spot a visit.

Argosy Cruises

The Argosy Cruise on the Harbor was included in my City Pass. You can go any of their departure times as long as you arrive thirty minutes before the ship sets in the water. If it’s too cold like it was during my time, you can hangout inside where their lounge is and order some hot chocolate. The cruise was nice to take and learn more about Seattle.

Pier 66

My last spot during my visit was Pier 66. Go all the way to the top to be able to capture some a great sunset view. In my photo if you look right to the Great Wheel, you can see Mt. Rainier which you never see during the day. This spot is amazing to sit, have a drink and watch the sunset!
